I’m Vanessa Campos, an aspiring writer. I was born in 1997, on a freezing Friday, at 3:20 a.m. I am Brazilian, married, and passionate about books since I was very young.

In my early school years, during the time of learning to read and write, I was one of the last to grasp these skills. But, luckily, I was fortunate to have an angel in my life—my teacher. She gave me extra activities, games, and dedicated some of her free time to teaching me. I remember she had a mini library at her home and promised me that once I learned to read, she would lend me any book I wanted. And she did.

My passion for books started with her, the library, and the literature classes. In adolescence, it was not uncommon for me to seek refuge in the school library, immersed in reading and silence. I am an introverted person, so being with friends is something I love but it drains my social energy.

Reading is a part of who I am, but writing was a hidden love for a long time, only awakening in 2020 during a creative writing course I took during the pandemic. In that course, I wrote poems and stories for the first time and shared my writing. It was there that I discovered my calling.

The impact was so profound that I changed careers, becoming a writer, and later an SEO analyst. I entered this field in an attempt to satisfy my passion for writing, but it wasn’t enough, and that’s why this website exists.

I created this site intending to be a writer, expressing what I think, imagine, create, and critique. Here you will find texts born of pure imagination, and others that are confessions of the soul, whether in the form of poems, stories, or articles.
